Hola!
My name is Julissa, owner of Renu Upholstery.
During college times and moving to a new apartment,
it was impossible for me to afford new furniture.
That's when I started thrifting for used furniture and reupholstering them myself.
I fell in love with repurposing and refurbishing the old and bringing it back to life!
Having a background in Fine Arts and Apparel Design helped me learn this process so much faster and I really enjoyed it.
After some years of self-taught experiences, I got the chance to learn a bit more when I volunteered working with a veteran upholsterer, who taught me some of the ways in the upholstery craftsmanship.
After this experience, RENU was born!
